It seemed like forever for our very first “baby appointment”, but finally it did come. Not knowing anyone is this area that is having a baby, I had to do some research to find the perfect doctor. Although it sounds funny, I actually found our OB/GYN office on the internet and was quite impressed with their website. Crossing my fingers it would be a place we felt comfortable I made the appointment. Also in this process I chose to have the baby at the Roseville Sutter Hospital. Although we live in Folsom, we are actually equal distance to the Folsom and Roseville hospitals (let’s just hope we don’t move before then ;). Like choosing the OB/GYN I used the internet again searching reviews watching videos, and hopefully this will be the right fit for us!
So going to our first office visit I was a little nervous the place was going to be a dive, but however was reassured everything was going to be great as soon as we walked through the door. Finally after all the background health check, we had an ultrasound and found out we were having for sure a baby. It was amazing to see the heartbeat flicker on the monitor even if it only looked like a blob and not a baby. We were ecstatic that it was officially official!
